  • The college library is an state of art collection of the titles which will help students to expand their mental horizons.

  • There is a learning center along with the library which adds an air of academic brillianc to the overall ambiance of the college.

  • Library subscribes to various national and international journals, publications magazines and e-journals.

  • There are some computer systems available in Library with Internet connectivity, provided to the students and teachers which is helpful for online study, searching notes, materials etc.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

 Student must at all times carry their identity card when in the campus and must produce it on the demand of the staff.

 Attendance in all the workshops, symposiums and seminars is compulsory.

 Student will not attend any other classes than their own without seeking permission from the management.

 Students are not authorized to communicate any matter to the press pertaining to the institute.

 Students are to take care of institute property as any damage done to the same may result in disciplinary action.

 Institute will not responsible for the loss of any of the personal belongings of the students.

 Usage of personal/group entertainment device like radio, mobile is not allowed in any premises of the institute.

 Students will have to comply with the attire policy.

 Participation in the club activities will be mandatory.

 No Student will be allowed to enter the class/knock at the door or leave the class once the faculty is in classroom. Students must not request faculty for cancellation of lectures.

DOCUMENTATION :

All the students should submit their qualifying degrees and mark sheets to the office for verification as early as possible. The admission of those who submit their degrees and mark sheets (showing their having cleared the qualifying examination) for admission to Spectrum will be cancelled.

ATTENDANCE:

A minimum of 75% attendance of students is compulsory falling which will be debarred from appearing in any examination and their term will not be granted. Students are not allowed to leave the station without written permission from office. Medical sickness or another contingency will not be accepted for grant of attendance or to conduct absence.

DRESS CODE:

All the students of Spectrum will wear the uniform of the institute on every Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Students will also wear institute uniform during the workshops conducted by visiting faculty, cultural events, sports events, mind share and any other get together under the auspice of Spectrum.

READING:

Every student will have to read English news paper daily. Students must issue at least two books over and above the academic session in a month Books reviews will be conducted on the last Friday of every month.

DISCIPLINE:

The discipline philosophy is to make the students grow and nurture with an objective to make them responsible and dedicated teachers this is done by:

 Offering them freedom but with forever of not misusing it.

 By training modern techniques woven with our traditional values

 Behaviour which is not Restrained but is Regulated.

 Increasing IQ but not at the cost of EQ and the expense of HQ-Human Quotient. CLASSROOM:

Every subject needs to be taught in a manner that the knowledge disseminated is assimilated by the students in totality. This possible only through the active participation of students. This is achieved by felicitating:

 Discussions and debates

 Presentations by participants

 Regular practice teaching CAMPUS:

 The college has sprawling lush green campus spread over 5 acres and is equipped with the latest teaching aids

 There are multiple class rooms which are well ventilated and are well furnished

 All the class rooms have all modern teaching aids including the LCD projector, O.H.P. and other necessary equipments to facilitate ideal teaching environment in the class.

IT-INFRASTRUCTURE:

In this age of information superhighway and cyberspace IT skills have become a necessity. The college has an fully IT Lab with latest digital multimedia terminals. This is one of the added advantages for the Future Teachers.
