The main function of education is to guard the social heritage and educational values. For this the educators should carry out their ethical responsibilities. Therefore, Teacher Education courses should aim at training of the body, mind and spirit.

 make it possible to expand the boundary of life and help in understanding it to the fullest extent. To achieve this aim, first of all we need to develop the latent capacities of would be teachers who will be the guiding source to their students and hence co-ordinating their expression for the progress of society.

Teacher’s role in the new millennium has become multi facilitated and challenging. Teacher are nation builders. You will need to cultivate social, moral and spiritual values in children. Your role as facilitators for social transformation will require you to develop in children nationalism and internationalism; prepare them to be global citizens, develop in them self-learning skills and ICT skills and develop in them high emotional and spiritual quotient.

An educational institute is not just about bricks, concrete and walls, but about building personality, enriching minds and about new experiences that lasts a lifetime. Having said that “life is not a set of instructions but is a series of experiences and learning process”. This is where we steps in to make a difference and where learning is not just series of instructions but an enthusiasm, which goes beyond books, instructions, and learning horizons.

With the blessings of Almighty and dynamic management, Spectrum College Of Education was established in 2012 and since then, the best teacher training techniques, programmes, activities and skills are adopted and practiced in our institution both by the students and the staff members. The outcome is democratic environment which produces excellent teachers both on academic and co-curricular fronts.

The learning atmosphere in the institute helps the student to enrich by an array of academic, co-curricular and curricula inputs in the form of core practice teaching, seminar, tutorials, workshops, research project and ICT training etc.
